Hello Everyone,

March 18th, 2025 marked a branding update that affects the Community Led Crisis Response (CLCR) program and the Comox Valley PACT program.

CRCL (pronounced circle) is the new name for the Peer Assisted Care Teams (PACT) model; this is a province-wide change initiated by CMHA BC.

Read the news release for more details: https://bc.cmha.ca/news/crcl-crisis-response-community-led/

CRCL stands for Crisis Response, Community-Led.

Why has the name changed?

  • A consistent brand identity creates a reliable and predictable experience for community members, building trust and making it easier for people to understand and access the services they need, when they need them most.
  • As the program has expanded not all teams were able to use the name PACT because of similarly named teams in their communities. Going forward all teams will be aligned under a common name.

All other details of the mobile crisis intervention programs remain the same.
