Indigenous Wellness Program

Culturally grounded harm reduction support for Indigenous community members

Our Indigenous Wellness Program provides culturally grounded harm reduction support for Indigenous community members. The program helps people access services such as system navigation, Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT), prescribed alternatives, treatment options, overdose response training, and connections to cultural activities and community supports.

The program meets people where they are at, offering participant-led support that builds resilience, strengthens relationships, and supports wellness. Guided by an Indigenous worldview, the program respects the values, beliefs, and traditions of individuals, families, and communities.

This program is only available in the Campbell River community.  We want to share thanks and gratitude to First Nations Health Authority for funding this program.
