Since 1986, AIDS Vancouver Island has been working to improve the lives of people living with HIV or AIDS and to prevent more individuals from becoming infected with the virus.
Despite medical advances, there is still no cure for AIDS and people continue to be infected with HIV. Consequently, the demand for HIV/AIDS services is growing.
Throughout the North, Central and South Vancouver Island Health Areas AIDS Vancouver Island is responding to these demands with a wide range of programs and services. Please see the menu on the left hand column for more information about our programs.
