AVI's Westshore Health Clinic is pleased to offer three training sessions for Healthcare & Service Providers aimed at building skills to provide inclusive and supportive community practices. Participants are welcome to attend any (or all) of the trainings but please ensure you have reserved a seat as space is limited. Sessions are as follows;
- Oct 20, 9:00-11:00am: ‘Queer Eye for the Service Provider’: A training workshop aimed at increasing service provider’s comfort with and knowledge of the LGBTQ2+ community and related concepts.
- Oct 20, 11:30am-1:30pm: 'Hepatitis C Update", covering the latest information on transmission, disease prevention and treatment options in Canada.
- Oct 20, 2:00-3:30pm: Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training
These free trainings are for anyone working in the Westshore community (paid or voluntary).
