Good Idea
This website seems hard to use at first, but it is not that hard to use. The passwords are long but you can change them. The site will be more fun too if there are more users for sure.
Men's Discussion Group - Using our Website
Our Website is becoming very popular. That is great. Usually there wil be anywhere from 10 to 70 people looking at this site at anyone time. That is very good. Now we need you to use it more. To sign in and then contribute to the discussions.
The more we have doing this the more we will succeed in helping each other. All of us wish at some point we could get our point across. This website is great for that, you can ask questions, raise issues you want addressed or want other users of the site to respond to.
Join the discussion group on Monday January 5 for a hands on lesson using the website. It takes place at 1601 Balnshard Street in Victoria. Looking forward to seeing some of you there. For more info send an email to men@avi.org or ask your question here on the website!

Jan 5 - Hands On Night.
Rick: That was an informative evening, learning about this website.
The format of having the internet available on a big screen in the room would be handy for an evening of looking at the various resources available for gay men on the web, especially for the ludites who don't yet use the net.
Hope you have the heat working again.

Definitely that's something we can do... i'll pass your suggestion on to Rick. If you have broad areas of interest that you want to explore, re: gay stuff, pass that on too. There is so much that if we have some focus we can organize something that you can really use. Could be a focus on local/island gay resources, HIV/AIDS resources, internet cruising/connecting, chats... up to you. Cheers!
Hands on Night
I like the idea and it is one we can do. Thanks for suggesting it. I am currently planning an evening discussion and hands on effort on using the internet for chat and meeting other guys.
Lots is done this way and it can be scary for some, easy for others, in the end it can be very rewarding if done safely.
We could also spend and evening on using the internet to find other resources. Keep the ideas coming guys.
