Want too know what all I can do on this site, can you help? Can I get e-mail msgs here & what would the e-mail address be?
Nope. No email.
The website is just an online extension of AIDS Vancouver Island and as such, we can't offer email accounts. You can check with Hotmail, Yahoo, or <gasp> AOL for free email services if you need one.

Instant Messaging
You can instant-message other users on this website though, and receive messages from other users. When you've logged in, look under your name (left side) til you see "view inbox (0)". When you see this as (1) or more, you have messages.
Not exactly instant
Not to split hairs, but it's actually "personal messaging" ... an "instant message" would only occur if you checked your inbox immediately after someone sent you a message...

How do you SEND instant messages to other users? How do you find out who is logged on? There is the "Who's Online" box, showing how many users and guests are online. But how to message them?

Messaging
Maurice... all you have to do is left-click on anyone who is logged on or who is "new" and you will see an option for sending a message to that person. If they are not online at the time, their message will show when they do log on. Under your name you will see "view inbox"; if it shows 1 or more you have messages. Double click on "view inbox' to read your message(s) and reply to them.
