Can you get HIV/AIDS from fingering a vagina?

Can you get HIV/AIDS from fingering a vagina? I am not sure if I had any cuts on my finger at the time. What are the risks?

Answer to your question re: fingering a vagina

Giving or getting a finger job or finger fuck is actually considered a negligible risk for HIV. Which means there has never been a case documented were someone has got HIV from fingering or getting fingered but we can’t say it’s no risk because there is no such thing as safe sex only safer sex. Having an open cut or sore on your hand can put both people at a higher risk for HIV and is just generally bad manners. Fingering etiquette dictates that the fingerer should have clean, well-groomed hands with short-filed nails. This will reduce the chances of snagging your partner’s vagina or anus and causing a tear that could potentially put them at higher risk for HIV should you engage in higher risk activity later like unprotected intercourse with a penis or sharing vaginal fluids. Try using a well lubricated latex or polyurethane glove for a smooth fingering sensation and to lower your risk for HIV infection.
