We are looking for passionate, dedicated and committed Board Members to help us achieve our vision on Vancouver Island.
Our vision, at AIDS Vancouver Island, is of a world free of HIV and hepatitis C. Until that time, we work to support and educate those who are infected and affected by HIV and hepatitis C and to address discrimination and stigma in the broader community.
Board Members play a vital role in setting policy decisions, advancing our strategic plan and acting as ambassadors for AVI. Fundraising, public policy, medical, legal, social work, and government backgrounds are preferable with a commitment and a willingness to learn being essential. Those with HIV and / or Hepatitis C are also encouraged to apply.
