"What good is sitting alone in your room, come share your gay thoughts today. Come to the Gaybaret old chums! Come to the Gaybaret!" The Men's Wellness Gaybaret is an answer to gay men in the North Island who have expressed interest in having soulful gatherings where thoughts and feelings about our gay experiences can be shared through poems, lyrics, book or play excerpts, personal journal entries, or anything they'd like to share that is meaningful to them. If you're not comfortable with sharing anything, you're still welcome to come and listen; but please still bring something meaningful to you to share in case you change your mind! There will be some non-alcoholic beverages and healthy snacks provided.
